This quilt has 50 different fabrics in the burgundy and teal color families. It is very difficult to estimate yardage in this type of quilt. About 4 yards total of dark, medium and light fabrics in two color families. Fat quarters work well. This technique is not suitable for narrow 1/4 yard cuts.
