A freckled, irrepressible
imp ready to "take on the world," Specs features freckles,
wire frame glasses, dyed manila rope hair, lowered-waist dress trimmed
with (3) red "time-worn" wood heart guttons and secured
with a calico sash. Her lace-trimmed slip and pantaloons somehow manage
to hang below her dress. Sporting her scrunched up knee hose (or too-big
baby socks) and flower-bedecked hat and clutching her doll, Patty
cakes, and her mother's purse, she's "ready" ... for anything.
(Named for our mother, she insists she never looked like that!
