No Sew??
These "No-Sew Hostess" projects are quick, easy and fun. All are made using paper-backed fusible webs or the new acrylic enamel paints. Paper-backed webs are a sheet of heat activated adhesive on a paper backing which acts as a pressing cloth so you can iron the web onto the wrong side of fabric, peel the paper backing off and then iron the fabric to another surface which can be anything that will withstand the heat of an iron. The web also fuses the threads of the fabric together to virtually eliminate the fraying of cut edges
Acrylic enamel paints are a new breed of water based paints that are permanent on hard surfaces and some brands are even diswasher durable on items which can be cured in a 325° oven. They are available at your favorite craft supply store.
