Quilter’s Rule International, LLC, established in 1983, is the manufacturer of the original Quilter’s Rule rulers and our exclusive line of notions. In 2001 we purchased and added the SewFit product line to our Quilter's Rule line. Selling to Distributors, Retail stores, and to consumers, Quilter’s Rule has customers, in most countries and in every state in the United States.  Located in Waterford, WI, just southwest of Milwaukee, WI, we manufacture our own exclusive lines of rules and notions to exacting standards.  Located in the heart of America we have a competitive advantage using small package handler such as UPS.  Quilter’s Rule can also manufacture to specification for distributors and designers.  We can turn your creative idea into a working product. Several shops have us manufacture short runs of templates for their exclusive use. 

Equipment

Quilter’s Rule offers manufacturing capability in several areas.  Plastic injection molding, color printing in two and four color, cad driven laser cutting of simple and complex plastic shapes. Silk screening on hard surfaces, and custom packaging of the completed project.

Plastic injection molding

While we normally mold in styrene,ASB and Acrylic, we can offer other products you just need to tell us how you want your product to be manufactured or let us offer our expertise.

450 ton Van Dorn Plastic Injection Molder

The largest Injection Molding press we offer, it can accept a mold up to 18”X24”. This is the press we use to manufacture our largest rulers like the QR-1.

75 ton Cincinnati Plastic Injection Molder

This molder is highly efficient on smaller molds running in automatic. 

What can we do for you?

If you have an idea and just want to test it we can help you out. If you want to be the manufacturer we can custom manufacturer to your specifications and you can do the marketing and distribution.  If you would like Quilter’s Rule to be the manufacturer and marketer, we can pay you a royalty on the selling price of the item and we will distribute through our channels of distribution, which includes other distributors, retail stores, catalog and website.

Laser cutting

Synrad 200 watt laser with 48x50 cutting surface. This computer driven laser is capable of cutting simple or complex shapes over the entire cutting surface, as well as doing etching of the surface. 

Many of our Quilter's Rule and SewFit's Laser Cut Templates, Rulers, and T- Squares are manufactured in house using a twin beam 1000 watt Industrial Laser.

Because these machines are not working full time on our products we have some open time at very economical hourly rates.

We can work from a sample part, basic sketch, finished blueprints, or a DWG, DXF or Corel Draw file which you have programmed. Please contact us for a prompt quotation on your needs!
