Deborah Manlove/Tangled Threads Quilting
This is one of the classes I teach at our Community ED - being a Longarm quilter I see lots of borders and backings that really need help.  My customers are always interested to know that there are many different kinds of battings.  In the piecing classes my beginners have trouble with their bindings so being a self taught quilter; I do my binding differently.  That is how I decided to market the "Binding Thingy".

Patricia Simons
Patricia represents the family owned and operated business, Quilter's Rule, and attends over 20 quilting shows a year.  Shortly after joining Quilter's Rule, she learned to quilt.  While attending a WonderCut retreat (held by Alice Walter and Deb Hopkins, the designers of the WonderCut Ruler and the WonderCut Triangle Ruler), she completed her second quilt, a Lone Star quilt, usually on display in our booth at quilt shows, and discovered the joy of quilting.  As Quilter's Rule developed the Design Tools line, Patricia has developed a knack for designing different quilting patterns to fit each individual quilt.  She demonstrates the techniques at shows and has begun teaching a class called "Unlocking Your Creativity (The Key is Templates").  She has instituted "Design Basics 101", which are step-by-step instructions using design templates to create your own patterns, hosted on the internet at www.quiltersrule.com  She looks forward to sharing her techniques to help you develop your own style and expertise.
